PROJECTS

BASEBALL MANGA ANIMATION LOOP

Animated loop paying homage to traditional manga printing techniques using Toon Boom Harmony for animation and After Effects for all compositing. I really enjoy emulating different styles and techniques to deconstruct what makes them so unique and visually striking.

I worked with Pulitzer Prize-Winning author Anthony Del Col to create promo videos for his graphic novels “Kill Shakespeare” and “Romeo vs Juliet”. For each book I created a short, medium, and longer form video for different use cases across social media. My work involved everything from sourcing and editing audio to motion graphics and art asset editing.

“KILL SHAKESPEARE”

“ROMEO VS JULIET”

I worked with museum historians to create an explainer video and a commercial for their new App. For both projects I was tasked with design and implementation of their rough ideas with a lot of freedom to pitch my own and collaborate on the final videos.

For the App Introduction I was provided video footage from previous projects, voiceover narration, and photos from the site as well as their archives. I supplemented with my own captured footage from within the app to create a cohesive narrative and messaging centered around app features they wished to highlight. I also sourced additional music and edited overall sound design.

For the App Commercial I was only provided photos and a rough outline of ideas they wanted featured in the commercial. I was tasked with pitching a rough storyboard and implementing their feedback. Once the overall design was approved, I created all graphics, typographical treatment, capturing footage from within the app as well as sourcing music and editing overall sound design. With these materials I was able to craft a compelling motion graphics advertisement.

Stage Production

The Boy Who Loved Batman is a stage adaptation of a book by the same name starring Dan Fogler. I illustrated and animated over 150 comic panels for projection which comprised the entirety of the setting and environments.
